To coordinate 'Material/Hardware' logistics for assembling jet engines. The candidate will be responsible to coordinate across functional areas to address material issues with Test Engineers, CIPTs (Component Integrated Product Teams), Product Line and Flow Line management. Issues will focus on the commitment, storage, transportation, and handling of all hardware related to the Assembly and Test activities. The candidate will be responsible for releasing hardware from the warehouse and for coordinating kitting activity to support the Middletown Site Assembly Floor. As such, the candidate will have significant contact with the product and the assembly process.
Individual must maintain SAP data integrity in regards to BOM (Bill of Material) and inventory accuracy. The person must be willing to interact with engineers and mechanics to identify engine build requirements and work closely with CIPTs, the Development Programs, and Industrial leads to identify and report material shortages.
The individual will be required to represent the materials organization in different venues, such as Program Reviews and Daily Production Meetings, which will allow for personal growth in the areas of Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
The candidate will be required to utilize ACE (Achieving Competitive Excellence) Tools. As Pratt & Whitney's continuous improvement tool, ACE provides a structured method to measure business units and provide analysis for process improvement.

Knowledge of SAP/R3 and jet engine assembly a plus
Strong Microsoft Application and PC experience (Excel, Word, Access, and Business Warehouse)
Knowledge in MRP System
