The Role Bloomberg Tradebook, an electronic agency broker, is looking for a compliance professional to join its New York team. The position requires a knowledge of FINRA and SEC Rules rules and regulations pertaining to equity and equity option securities. The position includes monitoring of desk activities, Research, Commission Management, clearing issues, and providing continuing education to the sales staff. The candidate will also work with business units on the structuring of new products and services.
Qualifications: - Five or more years prior experience as a compliance officer and/or with a securities regulator - Licensed attorney, regulator/in-house legal and/or senior compliance officer - Ability to evaluate new/existing product offerings and strategies - Strong judgment and leadership skills - Team player
