Roles / Responsibilities
Work with businesses and other tax professionals to identify and assess the economic and financial implications of different transactions from tax perspective. Partner with tax planners and business groups in advising on tax issues.
Work with businesses and other tax professionals to identify and assess the economic and financial implications of different transactions from a tax perspective.
Work with our compliance group in assessing how transactions are reported and assuring compliance with all laws.
Work Experience/ Skills & Education REQUIRED
3-9 years experience in tax related matters
Strong attention to detail
Ability to take responsibility for multiple projects
Experience with Microsoft Excel (i.e. economic modeling) and PowerPoint
Experience with corporate and partnership income tax principles
Understanding of basic financial reporting and GAAP principles
Strong attention to detail
Experience with technical research and writing
JD Degree
Work Experience/ Skills & Education PREFERRED
Previous Big 4 or larger corporation experience
Masters or LLM in Tax
CPA
