The Staff Attorney provides legal advice to and coordination of all legal activities of LG Electronics Alabama Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") involving contracts/agreements, customer claims, compliance/risk management, financial matters, property protection, employment related issues, visa/immigration matters and all other legal matters as assigned.
Reviews and negotiates all contracts/agreements between the Company and third party vendors, subcontractors and suppliers.
Reviews and provides legal advice on all customer claims and other business related disputes and claims.
Reviews and performs Company's compliance/ risk management tasks.
Provides legal advice to and coordinates with Human Resources all employment related disputes, and visa/immigration matters for foreign employees.
Reviews and provides legal advice on all legal forms completed and submitted on behalf of the Company.
Reviews and handling all other legal matters as assigned.
Protect company proprietary and confidential information
Education/Experience (related experience)
JD Degree and admitted to practice law in Alabama.
1 year experience preferred in a law firm or corporate legal team.
Strong oral and written communications skills and legal research skills
