An excellent career opportunity is currently available for a Senior Paralegal within the Honeywell Safety & Productivity Solutions division located in Charlotte, NC. Our Sr Paralegal will provide general, day-to-day support for the Intellectual Property (IP) Legal Team, to include the following key responsibilities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES + Provide paralegal and administrative support to Honeywell Safety & Productivity Solutions (SPS) Intellectual Property (IP) Legal Team + Respond to general questions and inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders about SPS's legal and IP processes + Identify, create and drive implementation of system, program, and process improvements + Independently drive the SPS IP product review and patent prosecution processes + Prepare legal documents and reports + Manage intellectual property filings and docketing YOU MUST HAVE + Minimum 4+ years' experience working as a Paralegal either in-house at a public or other company, or at a law firm + Qualification to be a paralegal by certification or education and work experience as approved by the American Bar Association + Proficiency filing patent applications, office action responses and other correspondence with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office + Strong matter management, PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, Teams and SharePoint skills/proficiency WE VALUE + Proven ability to develop effective solutions to complex problems, including problems that are process driven and/or data driven in nature + Excellent organizational & time management skills + High attention to detail + Excellent written & oral communication skills + Ability to handle multiple complex matters independently and at same time, with minimal supervision and under tight deadlines + Demonstrated ability to work well with attorneys and business clients with different styles + Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment + Ability to excel within a matrixed and multi-national organization + Excellent written & oral communication skills WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? + A competitive salary and innovative, leading-edge technical work + Hybrid work schedule: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote + Comprehensive Benefits for full-time employees, including Employer subsidized health, dental, and vision insurance + 401k retirement savings plan with industry-leading employer match, 12 paid holidays, generous vacation, available education assistance, 56 hours of sick time, and much more Honeywell is an equal opportunity employer.
