OVERALL SUMMARY
HBO seeks a lawyer to provide advice and legal counsel to the Advanced Technology and Media & Production Operations departments.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Negotiate, draft, analyze, and participate in all aspects of technology deals, including technology deals relating to the distribution of HBO content ,including digital distribution •Provide strategic business and legal advice to develop comprehensive strategies with vendors and partners •Advise on related areas of law including regulatory, general business and contracts
REQUIREMENTS
•Minimum 6 years of legal experience required, including extensive experience with technology transactions •JD degree from a top tier law school and 4+ years at a top firm •Strong track record negotiating strategic transactions. International experience a plus •Experience as in-house counsel in technology or entertainment/media industry preferred •Strong research and writing skills •Excellent oral and written communication skills
