Senior Quantitative Analyst
Responsibilities:
Develop rationale and supporting evidence for strategic and tactical investment ideas
Assist with building and maintaining quantitative models to inform strategic and tactical asset allocation decisions
Assist with preparing reports including the investment point of view and client presentations
Support evaluation and monitoring of client portfolios including risk management
Work with external systems vendors
Requirements:
with a concenBachelor’s degree tration in a quantitative field
Two to three years of investment industry experience
Expertise in statistics and basic econometrics
Experience with the following: Matlab, derivatives and structured products
Strong written and oral communication skills
Broad knowledge across asset classes – fixed income, equities, commodities, hedge funds, private capital, real estate
Familiarity with risk factor analysis and quantitative risk management; previous experience with related tools, i.e., RiskManager, BarraOne, BlackRock, FactSet, preferred
Facility with Monte Carlo simulation and constrained optimization is highly preferred
Possess the ability to work as part of a team to accomplish broader goals and objectives.
Willingness to work after hours, upon necessity, to accomplish work assignments
NASD Series 7 and 63 licenses recommended within 6 months
