Roles/Responsibilities:
Advise on commercial strategies and negotiate, draft, and review commercial documents
Advise on real estate issues and negotiate, draft, and review related documents
Advise on pipeline operations legal issues
Advise on regulatory compliance matters
Advise on corporate governance matters, and draft, review and revise governance documents
Advise on internal audits and investigations
Work Experience/Skills & Education REQUIRED:
Juris Doctor degree
Possesses and demonstrates high integrity and ethical conduct
5+ years of legal experience
Strong negotiation and drafting skills
Strong analytical and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to apply good commercial and legal judgment
Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple matters
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and apply a sense of urgency
Active member of state bar in good standing
Work Experience/Skills & Education PREFERRED:
Transactional experience
Experience as legal counsel to an energy company
Real estate law experience
FERC experience
