Work experience within complex Enterprise environments including, but not limited to: installation, configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, capacity planning, monitoring, and administration. Work effectively with team of system administrators to maintain uptime, consistency, scalability and performance while meeting business needs. Work effectively with DBAs, Middleware Application Administrators, Network Engineers, Programmers, and Analysts to complete tasks in a timely manner. Technical and business, through initiative and direction from senior staff. Work on corporate projects to ensure proper scaling and platform architectures to support initiatives. This is an on-call position.
Advanced-level System Administration including:
Development and Dev-int Support
Installation/Configuration
Operability/Scalability design
Monitor development and use
Performance tuning
Capacity planning
Dev Int support when in on-call rotation
Platform-level design and deployment throughout multiple middleware environments
Work on corporate projects to ensure proper scaling and platform architectures to support initiatives
Bachelor’s degree (preferred CS, CIS, or MIS). A minimum of 5 years proven technical systems administration experience including Windows 2003 and UNIX. BEA WebLogic v8.1, 9.2, 11g; webMethods 7.1,8.2; strong scripting knowledge (PERL, etc.)
