Our company is looking for a Senior Account Executive to play an integral role supporting the management of the day-to-day planning and implementation of a client's culinary platform. Strategy and activation will focus on events in NYC with strategic planning and programming around 2-3 other key U.S. markets.
Responsibilities include working with internal client project managers for program development and approvals, cross-agency interaction, and partner/property management. Position is based in the Norwalk, CT office, but will require travel a few days per week to the client's Headquarters in Westchester County, NY. The ideal candidate has experience working in culinary marketing, culinary events and/or knowledge in the restaurant industry. The position also includes travel, mostly domestic, as necessary for meetings, site visits, new partner introductions and on-site execution of culinary lifestyle events. This position requires excellent communication and time management skills, acute attention to detail, client management and the ability to work well within a team environment.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Strategic support for local market consumer-engagement programming
Assist with the development and implementation of all Priceless NY related events (i.e. - on-site branding and promotions, hospitality, gift and premiums coordination, etc.)
Interface with client
Assist with new partner negotiations and delivering programs with existing partners
Interface with internal work-stream managers to collaborate on activation and execution ideas
Prepare presentations, budgets, Point-of-View documents, conference reports and event recaps for the client
Manage budgets and necessary invoicing
Liaison with partner contacts for event logistics
Event supervision of limited term staff and event operations
Travel, as needed (weekend/holiday as required)
Other related duties as reasonably assigned
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of three to four years of sponsorship/brand marketing experience
Culinary background/knowledge preferred
Experience in social media
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, including great phone manner
Superior organizational skills, careful attention to details and the ability to multi-task
Strong ability to work as part of a team and under pressure
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrate initiative and solve problems independently
Exceptional personal/customer relations skills
Demonstrated ability to initiate work (self-starter)
Ability to problem solve independently
Demonstrated ability to manage others
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (in particular PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access a plus)
