To assist the Senior IP Counsel in maintaining and protecting the Company?s intellectual property portfolio.
Essential Functions: Handle an extensive international trademark, copyright and domain name portfolio and related IP enforcement matters. Maintain international trademark portfolio, copyright portfolio and various licensing and IP files as follows: a) prepare domestic trademark and copyright applications, statements of use, assignments and timely renewals and maintain updates to Trademark docketing database, tracking systems and internal files; b) review and respond to international counsel correspondence relating to pending international IP matters, corresponding with subsidiaries and licensees to compile and provide supporting documentation or evidence, obtaining legalization and certifications, as necessary, and maintaining internal files; c) support Senior Intellectual Property Counsel in managing IP litigation, product recalls, cancellations and opposition matters; d) file and maintain customs recordations; e) maintain domain name portfolio and ICANN/domain reclaim case management; f) conduct IP clearance searches for design and licensing business units; g) maintain correspondence and related IP files; h) handle special projects as needed. Assist Senior Intellectual Property Counsel in drafting and revising various legal documents, affidavits, declarations and other correspondence, responding to subpoenas and maintaining certifications. Act as point of contact to internal departments for IP matters and provide light executive support to Senior IP Counsel, Associate Counsel and General Counsel, as needed
