Paralegal C\D
The Boeing Company is seeking an experienced paralegal to join the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Law Department Practice Group at our Longacres site in Renton, Washington. Duties include providing support to Aircraft Sales and Deliveries, Contracts, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Commercial Aviation Services attorneys in the area of drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, screening client and external inquiries, and performing factual and legal research with specialized software (e.g. LexisNexis, WestLaw), as well as the internet and the Boeing intranet. Will support the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and anti-corruption processes in the Company and attorneys as they provide legal training to the Company. Will provide general support to all areas of law and matter management handled by the BCA Practice Group on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to work well with supervising attorneys, internal clients, customers, suppliers and outside counsel, and a solid working knowledge of the law governing contracts. Qualified candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills, negotiation and drafting skills and the ability to explain and advocate legal positions to others, including attorneys and paralegals representing companies that do business with Boeing. Must have strong computing skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & Adobe. Must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, capable of meeting deadlines, organized and detail-oriented.
