In addition to the responsibilities noted above, the role will also have functional responsibilities specific to each unit. Key Responsibilities: * Process daily work; maintain compliance with rules and regulations, with attention to bank policy, procedures and regulatory deadlines. * Ensure that assigned workload is completed within all deadlines and SLAs. The associate would have a high skill level on many functions and job processes within the operational unit. * May help to ensure department procedures are written, available, and current. * Work well within a team and help to create a positive team environment. * May assist other staff in solving internal and external customer issues. * Troubleshoot and resolve problems, ensuring management is in agreement with non-routine resolutions. * Recommend changes or alternate ways in processing methods to allow improved operating efficiency and service levels. * Work collaboratively with other areas of the bank. * Maintain integrity of reporting and documents per my assigned functions. * May assist on special projects * May be involved in acquisitions and divestitures as needed. * May assist in training of other team members. * Must adhere to pertinent laws, regulations, First Niagara’s Compliance Policy and external compliance requirements; including SOX Key Controls. * Other duties and assignments as required by management.
