Operations Paralegal
OPERATIONS PARALEGAL
Tyson's Corner public company is seeking a highly motivated, experienced paralegal, preferably with a litigation background. The operations paralegal will report to the Associate General Counsel.
Responsibilities:
Support communities and Corporate Support Office with general operations and regulatory issues.
Assist with general litigation matters, including labor and human resources claims.
Maintain contracts data base
Provide support on collections matters
Assist with regulatory filings to state and federal Agencies
Coordinate document requests for outside counsel, internal/external auditors and others
Assist on various aspects of transactions, including collecting, organizing and reviewing due diligence materials
Qualifications: Requirements:
Highly organized, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills required to interact with attorneys, staff, communities, senior management and outside vendors
Self-starter who is able to work efficiently with minimum supervision in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
Proficient with research tools and databases to conduct legal research
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree and/or paralegal certificate
Minimum of 4 years experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
