RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare legal documents for business banking and middle market transactions up to $2.5mm using automated doc prep system Ensure that all commercial loan documentation adheres to credit policy and conforms to loan approval requirements Ensure all necessary due diligence reports are ordered and reviewed, and take appropriate actions based on findings. Due diligence may incude UCC searches, business entity verifications, real estate searches, flood determinations, appraisals, and environmental reports Review legal documents from previously closed commercial loans to determine whether these existing documents will support a new loan Prepare detailed loan closing instruction memos for lenders which include items needed to complete a successful loan closing BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Good customer service skills with the ability to use tact and diplomacy with both internal and external contacts Demonstrated oral and written communication skills High school diploma Minimum three years experience with loan documentation or comparable work experience IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS: Associates degree preferred Paralegal experience preferred Working knowledge of the commercial loan products booked on AFS, Shaw, Datalink, and Floor Plan systems
