We are currently seeking a legal assistant/paralegal to assist attorneys with the prosecution of patents and trademarks at the United States Patent & Trademark Office. Previous IP experience is desired. The position includes preparation of patent-related documents and filings, preparation of trademark opinions and filings, management of client files, transcription, proofreading, filing, docketing, and handling of other various correspondence with clients. Candidate must have attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, strong English/grammar and proofreading skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word.
