DISH Network, a fast-paced Fortune 200 company known for its entrepreneurial spirit and innovation in the TV industry, is seeking an energetic and motivated IP paralegal to support its growing patent and trademark group.DISH Network is a leader in TV technology, with an unwavering focus on creating new and exciting ways for consumers to enjoy video entertainment.In this role at a dynamic and evolving technology company, the successful candidate will support the intellectual property attorneys with U.S. and international patent and trademark issues, as well as special projects related to these new technologies.
? Manage patent and trademark prosecution dockets and deadlines
? Manage IP group files, correspondence and conduct various research on patent, trademark and copyright issues
? Prepare U.S. patent and trademark applications and prosecution documents for submission to USPTO
? Coordinate with outside counsel to acquire in-house signatures and other documents
? Provide general clerical support for IP attorneys
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
