Job Description : Assisting with management of patents developed in North America, including supporting two Senior Patent Managers with patent prosecution matters; ensuring that critical information for North American invention disclosure, patent filings and issued patents are accurately input and updated within in the Bosch-developed patent database ( ""PLAS"" database); requesting and documenting foreign filing decisions from the appropriate engineering directors;assisting with management of the Bosch Inventor Awards Scheme, Inventor of the Year program and other similar programs; coordinating responses to outside inventor submissions; regularly corresponding with outside patent counsel on matters related to patent filings;supporting patent infringement issues as needed; organizing and keeping all necessary records of patent filings and issued patents; providing additional administrative assistance to all members of the C/IPR-NA department including preparation of materials for patent review committees, Strategic Patent Portfolio Management ('SPPM'), Bosch Global Inntellectual Property Conference ('BGIPC'), informational spreadsheets, generate reports, and process invoices; Job Requirements : Bachelor's Degree. Knowledge of the patent process and law is preferred but willingness to learn is the key factor. Highly skilled in various applications such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; excellent organizational, time management, and written and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail with the ability to work effectively and maintain accuracy under the pressure of looming deadlines; proactively anticipates needs, sets appropriate goals and demonstrates progress towards achievement of those goals, and asks questions appropriately while independently working to create and implement effective solutions to complex problems; capable of working with minimal supervision, building and maintaining constructive and effective working relationships with internal and external clients, peers and team members, and exhibiting flexibility and resourcefulness with regard to every day responsibilities.""
