Job Description: Our client, a top-tier national law firm, is looking for a full time paralegal in the business law services group of its Calgary office. The successful candidate for this role will possess excellent knowledge of corporate law and be comfortable drafting documents for corporate transactions, including incorporation, amendment and amalgamation transactions. As the ideal candidate for this role, you are the graduate of an accredited paralegal program, and will have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal. Additionally, you have a minimum of CORES Level 2 (CORES Level 3 and/or APPRES Accreditation would be an asset). Excellent research and analytical skills, excellent judgment, keen attention to detail, and superlative communication skills are required for this position. The incumbent must be able to work well within a team and while under pressure, while managing many files simultaneously. Occasional overtime may be required.
