Commercial Services Support Specialist / Commercial Services / Full Time

SUMMARY OF POSITION: Responsible for overseeing the administrative function of the commercial services department; adequately handling all criteria of the Commercial Services Support Specialist position, as well as that of an advanced nature; supervising Commercial Services Support Specialists; keeping up-to-date with various bank communication; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; and, complying with all applicable state and federal laws and bank ethical standards.
REQUIRED SKILLS: Must possess strong oral communication skills (including excellent telephone etiquette); strong math skills with high degree of accuracy; and, strong analytical skills. Must have the ability to deal tactfully and efficiently with the public and other employees. Must be able to organize work and determine priorities. Must demonstrate functional knowledge of accounting principles and general legal principles, including contracts, business organizations, agency and property (e.g., concurrent ownership, drafting/reading legal descriptions, title assurances, etc.). Must demonstrate thorough knowledge of F&M Trust’s Lending Policy. Must demonstrate advanced software skills using Word, Excel and on-line calendaring. Must demonstrate proficiency in operating office equipment including personal computer, calculator and fax machine.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED EDUCATION: An Associates Degree with an emphasis in business or business law curriculum or paralegal certificate (corporate/banking curriculum) or Legal Issues for Business Professionals certificate preferred.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 8-10 years administrative experience or a combination of education and experience normally required. Working knowledge of bank legal documents required. Previous experience with personal computers and office equipment also required.
