Assists and/or guides and facilitates the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals for authorization, such as sourcing strategy for commitment of work, cost imperatives and deploy impact analyses. Supports and/or coordinates and clarifies the analysis with business partners to validate results and determine scope to meet long range business goals and develop business case. Provides coaching and guidance to less experienced personnel. Supports and/or coordinates the commitments with internal and external organizations for large scale complex plans to fulfill the broad level strategies established by executive leadership. Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case. Meets with, and as required, presents plans to executive leadership to gain approval. Provides implementation direction for work authorization. Facilitates the establishment of an overall management system architecture by utilizing the Program Management Best Practices. Develops and maintains visibility system in support of the architecture. Utilizes the management systems and processes to provide status information on commitments and compliance to plan. Ensures follow up action for issue resolution. Represents executive management to internal and external business interests in areas such as communicating business policy, strategy and direction. Assists in task management and provides expert business advice to enable a more efficient use of executive resources.
Additional responsibilities include: Develop/improve the organization's management system and communication plans. Develop timely/meaningful visibility metrics, tools and presentations in response to executive management requests for information. Develop project schedules/milestones for active growth/strategy projects, track and report on progress. Lead teams in creating, implementing and managing business processes and activities. Provide performance analysis and make recommendations to leadership team. Apply sound business judgment to overcome difficulties with project schedules and commitments. Provide guidance in implementation of Lean culture and process improvement activities. This position requires an individual capable of managing multiple projects effectively. Preferred candidate will possess project management skills and experience along with demonstrated experience to design, develop and implement project management processes and systems across organizations. The candidate must demonstrate a willingness to communicate business issues clearly and effectively, drive execution, foster teamwork and work cross-functionally. A team leader who works well with people from a multitude of disciplines and at all levels of the company is desired.

Independently identifies project resource requirements, integrate and direct multi project elements into a single collective overall project plan. Ability to direct, delegate and ensure performance of assigned responsibilities and tasks as a project team leader in support of the overall large scale and complex projects. Identifies and resolves any issues and provide solutions and or recommendations to ensure the successful completion of the project.

Typical Education/Experience

Level 5 - Bachelor's degree and typically 15 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 13 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
