To add to our team of talented people, we currently are seeking Intellectual Property Counsel with 4-7 years of experience to assist with all intellectual property issues at DISH. The position would involve supervising the preparation and prosecution of patent and trademark applications, investigating potential trademark and copyright infringement issues, assisting with patent licensing negotiations, investigating and assessing patent assertions by others, assisting with patent litigation, and conducting IP related due diligence investigations.

To be successful in this role, our ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or Physics, JD from an ABA accredited law school, and admission to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office and at least one US State Court
4-7 years of intellectual property law experience, with an emphasis on patent assertions and litigation
Excellent patent analysis ability
Demonstrated project management skills, whether through corporate, firm, or prior in-house experience;
High energy to perform and meet deadlines and growth goals
Strong technical and legal background
